In recent years there's been renewed interest in cannabis and its constituent compounds being used as a medicine. Since 1996 voters in California began the process of Legalization and now 28 states plus D.C. have approved the medical use of marijuana with 8 states plus D.C. voting to allow it even for recreational use.
First off, HCO should never be taken orally with or combined with Alcohol, doing so will intensify the effects same as if you smoked marijuana while intoxicated on Alcohol.
HCO aka Holy Cannabis Oil can be taken both Topically and Orally. If your doing it topically your unlikely to feel any psychoactive effect from the Cannabis that is in it. That's not to say that the Cannabinoids are not making it into the body cause they are. However they are not likely to contain a large enough dose to overcome the low absorption rate of human skin. Depending on what your trying to treat the best method of dosing is to take it orally.
Start small to figure out what is the best dose for your body. Start with 1 drop and work your way up. Everybodies Endo Cannabiniod system is different. If you didn't feel anything then next day try doing 2 in the morning and the 2 at night.
Increase by one each day until you find your dose. You will know by listening to your body.
Some issues may require a higher dose and if you can tolerate it you will benefit from doing larger doses. We have some patients taking up to 1/2 teaspoon in the morning and another at night, this should provide meaningful sleep at night plus stimulate your appetite.
If you do to large of a dose you will feel the psychoactive effects which can be quite pronounced. There is the equivalent of 8 grams of high grade cannabis in each bottle.
Holy Cannabis Oil will do a lot more than just help you sleep and eat normally though, it helps reduce swelling, promotes our bodies own natural healing and promotes new skin growth and helps reduce chronic localized and non-localized pain.
If what your treating is skin related or surface related, then go ahead and just use it topically but you will get a lot more out of it by taking it orally.
If you have experience with Cannabis you may wish to start with a few drops twice a day but don't be afraid to up the dose if you can to a full dropper. For those who want to you can do it topically by either applying it directly to the location your treating and by applying it to the soles of your feet.
